We took some family photos:
Nathan, Rebekah, Brody, Ben and Marley
Josh, Leigh and Coleby
Hmmn... no photos of John and Sandra! :-( Ah well, we have photos of them enjoying the grandkids!
Doodaddy and Marley
Grannie and Coleby
Thomas and Marley
The kids opened their presents first, so they could have a ball playing with all their new stuff. Among other things:
A remote control truck for Brody
Ben opening up...
A robot dinosaur!
... that he was TERRIFIED of. He finally let it get somewhat near him when he was safely with his Daddy.
Brody thought it was great, though. I think more than anything, he loved being able to terrorize his brother with it.
A pink poofy puppy for Marley.
A trampoline for Coleby!
All the kids loved taking a bounce or two on that.
Grannie and Doodaddy help Marley open her new backpack, just perfect for those overnight visits.
Nathan looks over Brody's new learning computer.
Opening more gifts...
The real photographer takes a shot of the scene.
Hmmm... wonder what this could be?
Ben wastes no time finding a hard head to test the hammer on.
Spongebob game - right up Ben's alley!
Coleby takes it all in.
Brody finds a new use for one of the many boxes.
Nathan ties Coleby's new shoes.
The grownups opening gifts:
Doodaddy wasn't quite sure what to make of his Auburn Snuggie.
Amanda shows Anthony the "Lola" necklace I made her.
I think she likes it!
Nathan was, obviously, excited about his new table saw.
Sweet mother-son moment. Awwww...
My gift from Josh: A gift certificate to Dantera. Can't wait to use that!
Anthony framed a photo of Josh from back when he coached Kobe. ;-)
Finally Leigh brought out Doodaddy's real gift - Tiger Woods Golf for his new Wii. He was much more excited about that!
Testing it out - Wii Bowling.
Golf... that better be the only thing you're doing like Tiger, buddy! ;-)
The boys play together with their new toys.
Marley reaching for Doodaddy.
Snack time - the black olive penguins the kids helped me make.
It was such a fun day, one of the happiest Christmases I can remember. I am so blessed to have married into such a great family!
Up next: Christmas on Thompson Lane!
