As far as North Alabama winters go, this one has been quite wintery! We got another snowfall on Monday, and this one was a big surprise. I didn't even know it was supposed to snow until I looked outside and saw big fat flakes coming down. So the kids and I dropped everything, bundled up and went outside to play. Good thing we did, too because it all melted away by the afternoon. We had just enough to time to take some photos of the snow...
...throw a few snowballs...
(Brody was less than happy about getting hit with one!)
...run around making tracks in the snow...
...do a little sliding on cardboard...
...and of course, build a snowman! Our snowman rocked a circus hat, googly glasses, vampire teeth and a pirate-sash scarf. Nice.
Marley picked up the style.
All three kids posed with their new buddy... just two days before the boys had a big time beating him up with their plastic baseball bats! This family will remain safe from menacing snowmen.
When we all got cold enough, we went inside for some snow cream for lunch.
Yep, we got all our snow fun done in one big morning. Now let's bring on the spring!
